Successful integration of several marketplaces and expansion to DE & FR
The Dutch company Houtcompleet has successfully established itself in the international market by working with Nakoa Digital and has been able to integrate 5 different marketplaces. To achieve these goals, our marketing experts used the integration tool Channelengine and resorted to the placement of sponsored ads and country-specific content optimization. Thanks to these measures, the client’s sales increased by over €175,000 in the first 5 months.

Houtcompleet is a Dutch furniture company that specializes especially in the construction of wooden kit stairs, railings and balustrades. It offers its customers 100% handmade wooden goods in high quality. The biggest challenge was to successfully establish Houtcompleet on the French marketplace ManoMano and other online marketplaces, and to drive its international expansion through ad placement and content optimization.
The customer
Houtcompleet is a large supplier of wooden kit stairs, railings and balustrades in the Netherlands, which offers its customers a wide range of high-quality wooden items.
In addition to sales via its own online store, Houtecompleet is also increasingly focusing on sales via various marketplaces and is looking to expand into Germany and France.
Our task
Our goal as a digital agency was to establish the company on the French marketplace ManoMano and other online marketplaces to increase the company’s sales.
Another challenge was how to handle shipping large and bulky goods and still provide a good customer experience.
The solution
For international scaling and central product integration on marketplaces such as ManoMano, Amazon and Cdiscount, we opted for the integration tool Channelengine. Other tasks included generating country-specific content for the respective marketplaces in order to reach as many potential customers as possible and increase the visibility of the products. Our marketing experts also worked on the expansion to Germany and France, using targeted sponsored ads campaigns to increase the client’s sales.
Im betrachteten Kampagnenzeitraum konnte der ROAS, der in KW11 noch bei 420% lag, im Laufe der Kampagne auf 1730% in KW22 gesteigert werden. Das entspricht einem Anstieg von über 300%. Der Cost-per-Click konnte im Laufe der Kampagne um insgesamt 25% auf einen finalen Wert von 0.49 EUR gesenkt werden.
Darüber hinaus konnte ROY ROBSON in den Folgemonaten nach Start der Kampagnen auf Zalando eine Umsatzsteigerung von 30% erzielen.
